I am so excited to have joined the team at LPS. Teaching young children has always been a passion of mine. I love that our school provides a nurturing environment that encourages lots of social and play-based learning. Some of my favorite activities to do with the children include Art and circle time. Watching the children grow and learn something new each day is amazing and is a privilege.
My background consists of over 20 years experience caring for and teaching children, ages infants through school age. I hold an A.S. in Early Childhood Education through Middlesex Community College and a B.S. in Psychology from Worcester State University. I am also a wife and mother of 3 amazing kids.
When I am not teaching, I enjoy spending time with my family, playing with our 2 dogs and gardening!

I am so happy to be working with the children at LPS. I have 12 years experience working with children from 6 weeks to age 5. I started my Early Childhood Education at Nashoba Valley Technical High School in the Preschool Education Program. From there, I have worked in Chelmsford, MA and San Diego, CA for a total of 8 years for Kindercare Learning Center. I went to Lowell Middlesex College for a few other classes in Early Childhood. In all the ages that I have worked with, I have to say ages 2-4 years old is my favorite ages. There are so many different ways for children to learn, but my favorite part is through art projects and being hands on. Children learn new things everyday and I love being apart of that and watching them grow with each step of the way.
My family is an outdoor family. We love camping, snowmobiling, kayaking, hiking, swimming and playing with our two dogs.

I am thrilled to be part of the LPS team. I have a BA in Sociology with a minor in social work from Western New England University. Prior to joining LPS, I work for 12 years for the State of Massachusetts at the Department of Children and Families. I was an ongoing family social worker providing services to families and children who suffered from child abuse and neglect. Life eventually lead to me becoming a stay at home mom and during that time I loved volunteering at my children's preschool and elementary school. I enjoyed being in the classroom very much. Now at LPS I especially enjoy working with the children on their art projects and seeing their creativity. In my spare time my passion is traveling with my my family and making life long memories with them.
