Little Pilgrim School offers preschool programs
for two, three, and four year-old children. All programs are in session from
9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Listed below are the days and fees for each program.
All tuition payments are due on the first of the month and begin in August and
end in April. All fees below are for the current 2006-2007 school year and are
subject to change.
Meets: Tuesday and Thursday or Wednesday
and Friday
A lead teacher and an assistant teacher work with
a maximum of eight children. Children in this program are not required to be
potty-trained. Children must also turn two by July 1st to enter this program.
This unique program provides our youngest learners
with a caring environment with which to begin their journey of discovery
outside the home. Language and social skills are enhanced through supervised
play and structured group activities. Fine motor skills are exercised with
daily arts and crafts projects. Skills of independence and self-help are shared
and encouraged. The act of sharing and the value of friendship are constant
themes.
$190 per month for 9 months
Meets: Tuesday and Thursday
A lead teacher works with a maximum of eight
children. Children must be potty-trained to participate in this program.
This program focuses on the continuing development
of children’s social, language, fine and gross motor skills. Activities are
provided to encourage children’s interaction with each other. Appropriate
social behavior is modeled and encouraged. The individual interests of each
child are shared and valued. Fine motor skills are exercised with arts and
crafts, cooking, and sensory activities. An appreciation of literature and
music is fostered through sharing and role playing.
$172 per month for 9 months
Meets: Monday, Wednesday, and Friday
A lead teacher works with a maximum of eight
children.
This program enhances children’s acquired skills
and promotes growth in areas of development. Language arts, math, science,
music, and art are staples of this developmental program. Each learner is
viewed as an individual. Hands-on activities are provided in a center-based
arrangement to allow children the opportunity to learn at their own pace
through discovery. Field trips provide children with a valuable extension of
the curriculum.
